Anne Schoemaker
Co-Founder
Anne is a co-founder of Artcinia. A passionate community activist, strategist, musician, and philanthropist, her career was focused on the biotechnology industry. Her expertise includes technology development and licensing, intellectual property management, and new venture formation. She has contributed to diverse projects and organizations in both for-profit and non-profit settings.
Anne received a Bachelor of Music degree in piano from The Juilliard School and an MBA from Drexel University. She is an adviser to whatisbiotechnology.org and a member of the National Advisory Board of Project 440, a classical music engagement group for young musicians. She is herself an active chamber musician.
Anne has served as an officer of The Melmark Charitable Foundation and Community Volunteers in Medicine. She is a previous member of the boards of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, WHYY, Inc., the Philadelphia Orchestra, and Kimmel Center (POKC), Inc., and is a Trustee Emerita of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Luigi Mazzocchi
Co-Founder, Artistic Co-Director
Luigi Mazzocchi was born in Venezuela where he studied music in “El Sistema,” the “Sojo” Conservatory, and the Latin American Violin Academy with José F. del Castillo. Mr. Mazzocchi was a founder of several Venezuelan orchestras as well as a member of the “Simón Bolívar” Symphony Orchestra. He has performed as soloist with all the leading Venezuelan symphony orchestras, attended international music festivals in the US, Panama, Spain, France, and Australia, and has been a prizewinner in solo competitions in Latin America, the US, and Puerto Rico.
Since 1996, Mr. Mazzocchi has been living in the United States where he studied violin with Liliana Ciulei and Helen Kwalwasser at Rowan and Temple Universities. He has been a member of many ensembles in the region. Currently, he is the Concertmaster of the Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra, Concertmaster of the Ocean City Pops, Associate Concertmaster of the Delaware Symphony, and Acting Concertmaster of the Lancaster Symphony and the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. He regularly plays on instruments kindly loaned by Dr. William Stegeman.
Jake Kelberman
Artistic Co-Director & Director of Operations
Jake Kelberman is a versatile musician, composer, and educator from Philadelphia. He has performed at esteemed venues and festivals across North America, South America, and Europe. Notable accolades include being a finalist in the Wilson Center Jazz Guitar Competition and the “Keep an Eye” Jazz Competition.
Jake has recorded with artists such as Wycliffe Gordon, Ulysses Owens Jr., and Jim Snidero. As a composer, he has been commissioned by the Philadelphia Jazz Project and collaborated with choreographer Peter Chu for acclaimed performances by institutions like the Juilliard School and Giordano Dance Chicago.
Jake is a professor of jazz guitar and small ensemble director at Temple University. Advocating for social change through music, he has partnered with organizations like Concerts in Motion and the National Youth Orchestra and Choir of Belize. Jake holds degrees from Temple University and the Juilliard School, and he remains committed to fostering artistic collaboration and championing the arts’ essential role in society.
Antonello DiMatteo
Artistic Operations Coordinator
Philadelphia-based musician, Antonello DiMatteo is an active performer and educator in the tri-state area. He has recently been appointed Principal Clarinet with the Philadelphia Ballet and holds the position of Principal Clarinet with Reading Symphony Orchestra, Allentown Symphony Orchestra and Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey. Antonello is also a regular substitute with The Philadelphia Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Delaware Symphony Orchestra, Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, and has appeared as a soloist with Drexel University Wind Symphony, East Coast Mandolin Orchestra and Temple University Symphony Orchestra.
As an eclectic classical and world-music freelancer, Antonello has given numerous concerts across the US, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. A true musical innovator, Antonello holds a patent in Electronic Italian Bagpipes from the Italian Department of Economic Development. Beyond his substantial accomplishments as a musician and performer, he has also lectured across Europe and the United States, and currently holds a number of teaching positions, including his role of Clarinet Instructor at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.

Jasyn Brazoban
Manager of Community Engagement
Jasyn Brazoban is a Philadelphia-based artist, educator, and cultural organizer dedicated to helping artists and communities build real, sustainable pathways to thrive. As Manager of Community Engagement at Artcinia, he works where creativity, equity, and access meet—connecting artists, audiences, and institutions through partnerships rooted in trust, collaboration, and shared purpose.
A product of the School District of Philadelphia, Jasyn has taught music in public schools, leading both general and instrumental programs. For him, music is more than a subject—it’s a way for students to explore identity, express themselves, and grow as leaders, informed by his own experience in the same system.
Alongside teaching, Jasyn is an active professional trombonist and recording artist. He’s also performed at Artcinia events with The Chronicles, La Luz Del Son, and Josh Lee and the Family, giving him firsthand perspective on the organization’s impact.
Rooted in Philadelphia and shaped by Hispanic and diasporic culture, Jasyn approaches community work as both an artistic and civic practice, listening closely and using creativity to turn shared vision into lasting impact.
Natalie McGarrity
Administrative Coordinator
Natalie McGarrity, an Administrative Coordinator based in Philadelphia, is known for her exceptional skills in organizing, arranging, and supervising complex administrative tasks. Originally from Norristown, Natalie has developed a strong proficiency in coordinating various aspects of administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in every project she undertakes. Her role involves conducting detailed company research, as well as creating, organizing, and managing a wide range of documents and files to support smooth business operations.
Natalie is currently pursuing a degree in Business at Montgomery County Community College, where she is deepening her expertise in key areas such as project management, communication, and problem-solving. Her academic journey is equipping her with advanced skills to tackle complex business challenges and contribute effectively to organizational success.
Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Natalie has a passion for cooking and baking, often preparing delicious meals and treats for her family. She also enjoys crocheting, which allows her to unwind and express her creativity. Her dedication to both her career and personal interests reflects a well-rounded individual committed to continuous learning and personal growth.
